We never send your audio or transcript to an AI company. We never use either to train a model.
A private AI gateway
Our app servers reach our own AI gateway over a private encrypted network (a VPN). That connection is limited to the gateway service and is not exposed to the public internet.
Delete on your terms
We delete the original upload after transcription. Delete any file or your whole account anytime. Free files go after 30 days.
Share with control
Share links are read-only. Set an expiry date or revoke a link anytime.
Uploads and transcription audio travel over encrypted HTTPS.
Access and tracking
Staff sign in with two-factor authentication. Signing in as you needs a written reason and is logged. We don’t sell your data. Google Analytics measures visits and signups after consent for visitors from the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, and by default elsewhere unless you turn it off in Cookie settings or send Global Privacy Control. Your audio, files and transcripts are never sent to Google or used for ads.
Clear limits
Textspert is not HIPAA-covered, does not sign BAAs, and has no SOC 2 report.

Privacy questions
Does Textspert send my audio to an AI company?
No. Both transcription and AI features run on GPUs we operate.
Do you train models on my files?
No. We never use your recordings or transcripts to train a model.
Do you keep my original upload?
We delete the original after transcription but keep a compressed copy for playback. If transcription fails, we keep the source so you can retry.
How do I delete everything?
Delete your account in settings. You can export your data first. See our Privacy Policy for the statistics we retain.
